Most beautiful bays of Vietnam - Vietnam Travel

Those ever visiting the most beautiful bays in the world like The Bay of Fundy in Canada or Guanabara Bay in Brazil cannot deny the magnificent beauty of the following bays in Vietnam.

Halong Bay

Ha Long Bay is situated in north Vietnam round a 120 kilometer long coast line and is literally translated as “Bay of Descending Dragons”. The bay is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Vietnam welcoming a great number of international and domestic tourists. The bay Halong Bay is made up of 1,969 islands of various sizes, 989 of which have been given names, each topped with thick jungle vegetation, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Several of the islands are hollow, with enormous caves, others islands include lakes and some support floating villages of fishermen.

Vanphong Bay

Heading to the South, you cannot miss the chance to admire the magnificent beauty of Van Phong Bay, which is 30 km from Nha Trang. This beautiful landscape is endowed with wonderful natural sceneries and beaches of fine sand, an ideal temperate climate, surrounded by hills, mountains and tropical forests. The sea is all the more embellished with colorful coral reefs, vestiges of mangrove forests, rare sea creatures in an ideal environment. There are many forms of water sports and uphill tourism here, including sea diving, water skiing, sail boating, mineral water bathing and hunting. At present, Van Phong is ranked first of the four sea tourist centers by the Sea World Association.

Besides water and corals, the bay has more natural attractions. It is home to magnificent mountains with almost untouched forests and lovely beaches, and it is the habitat for hundreds of species of plants and animals. After exploring the ocean, you can walk along the white sandy beach, climb up the nearby mountain or observe animals in the island's forest. At night, you can stay in nice bungalows along the beach and eat seafood with Vietnamese.

Cam Ranh Bay

Along with Van Phong Bay and Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa is proud of owning the two of the most beautiful bays in Vietnam. The Bay of Cam Ranh is considered one of the jewels of Vietnam. The long protective seaward peninsula and natural inner and outer harbors form what many believe to be the best and most beautiful deep water port facility in the entire world.

Many tourists in Vietnam described Cam Ranh Bay as the pearl of central Vietnam because of its natural landscape that is formed by islands, beautiful beaches, green hills and mountains.

Vinh Hy Bay

Keeping on the travel to the South, Vinh Hy Bay is really a worth for your journey. The bay is surrounded by white sand beaches, majestic with towering rocky mountains and mysterious caves and poetic with cascading waterfalls creating streams in vast dense forest. If you visit Vinh Hy the first time, it is interesting to take a cruise in the bay in Ninh Thuan Province to see the coral reefs and the many islands and rocks with their fascinating shapes, like an ear or a turtle, or a hand with fingers stretching to the sky. Next time, you can opt for the boat voyage to the off-the-beaten-track areas. The pristine beaches and beautiful rocks will impress even the most seasoned traveler. No matter how often you visit Vinh Hy and the surrounding areas, you will always discover a new attraction every time.
