Khanh Hoa Tourism - Nha Trang: the place for backpackers

Travel Nha Trang - Nha Trang is one of the cities with the most developed tourism of Vietnam that attracts a lot of both domestic and international tourists. Along with the famous destinations, Nha Trang also has a lot of attractive places for backpackers. Let us explore these fascinating addresses.

Hon Ba Summit

This place is also called Da Lat inside the sea town because of its height of about 1,600m compared to sea level and its weather of the chilly air and fog throughout the year. 

The road up to the mountain is quite steep and winding, and that along with the cold will bring you excitement. Backpackers have peaked Hon Ba often carry the camping tent for the night, a fire in the cold of the mountain and watch the sunrise morning. One thing you need to prepare before setting off  is to fill the fuel tank for long distances and to bring warm clothes for the night because the mountain temperatures can drop as low as 10 degrees C.

Hon Ba Summit is also ideal for those who love to explore nature with rich flora and fauna diversity. This is one of the destinations you really should not be overlooked when travel to Khanh Hoa.

Eastern top

Eastern top - Head Island, also known as Double top, is located on the Hon Gom peninsula, belonged to Van Ninh district and is about 80km from Nha Trang. It is considered the number one destination for young people interested in exploring Nha Trang. In addition to moving by motorcycle, you can also opt for a boat ride from the Dam Trang fishing village. However, the motorcycle is often the choice of young people interested in exploring. 

Journey to conquer the Eastern top is long, steep with burning sand dunes and cliffs along the  sea, which brings a great challenge to the youth. Not only the strenuous way, but the impressive scenery sea, sky gradually appears before the eyes will make you satisfied. After the way with a lot of beautiful scenery, you will be able to pitching a tent, playing on the white sand beach or swimming or snorkeling. Early in the morning is the moment when nobody wants to ignore it, which is looking at the sun rises and the sun first pick in the territory of Vietnam.

Da Ban Lake

Da Ban Lake is the largest reservoir of Khanh Hoa province and also a favourite of backpackers. From Ninh Hoa town, you'll have to go over 20km to get to the lake and you will absolutely be convinced by the beautiful shape of the lake that is as a leaf with clear blue water, surrounded by range of primary forest protection.

What makes backpackers interested in here is pristine and pure; interlocking pebble beach of white sand, boulders as big as a flat table surface. Especially, in the lake, there are many types of freshwater fish to weigh about 1-2kg each child as carp, mullet, black carp or tench, etc. So visitors can catch fish and grill in place as fun as backpackers love to do. Many youth backpacker groups also prepare the soup pot to cook fish barbs with spice and pepper slices.
