Lao Cai Tourism - The beauty winter of Sapa

Adventure Tours - At the height of 1,600m above sea level, Sapa is a destination with a unique charm of the Northwest. From the last 30s of the century, this area  had been chosen as an ideal tourist destination with luxurious villas with European style and romantic stone path between the orchards full of tropical flowers during spring. Not only is the ideal retreat in the summer, if you have the opportunity to Sapa in the winter, you will realize the winter here is extremely attractive.

In winter, fog in Sapa is denser than other seasons, which makes the scene fuzzier and full of mystery. Fog hangs around like a thin, light gray chiffon makes people feel as immersed in the world full of romantic and like in the fairy world. Fog and the terraced plots together make a beautiful picture of Sapa.

Sapa town with buildings looming in the fog  is familiar image to anyone who has been to this place. The villas have hundreds of years ago with Western architecture are hidden in the fog, lying in separately along the roads or protruding on the slopes, hillsides make visitors will feel like it is a town in Europe. Adapted to the fog and cold, the ancient Samu trees  are on the roadside and streets in the town create a beautiful scene as a painting. In Sapa, visitors will feel like being in bamboo forests, vast pine forests that compose songs naturally with the wind. The plum or apricot branches,  which are white as snow, "swimming" in the wind with the spring orchid, orchid or dancer orchid will make guests feel peaceful.

This tourist town has many stalls closed together with innumerable, plentiful and varied goods. In addition to these kinds of souvenirs, warm clothes, shoes, toys imported from China, things get special attention to is the Brocade products such as blankets, pillow covers, clothing, bags, towels or hand made embroidery ... skillful hands of women with ethnic motifs and exquisite decoration.

Although the weather was bitterly cold, humid and foggy, Sapa markets are always very exciting. Regulating into the flow of tourists are a lot of ethnic Hmong, Red Dao, Giay people. The Hmong girls wear white brocade dress with colorful flowers, the Red Dao beautiful girls wear red turban studded tassels ... All of these makes this place  still full of vibrant colors and warm even in winter. They sell goods and Brocade and buy the necessary utensils at the far distance by going on their own foot. Pictures of women wearing colorful scarf on the head and the full gowns sprawling bent plug looming in the fog step is an interesting characteristic of this land.

Sapa Night Market is full of tasty and fragrant warmth. You can find most types of specialty baked goods such as chicken, pork, beef here... Also, you will have the opportunity to taste the famous "thang co" of Sapa. Sitting around the boiling water pot, diners leisurely dip vegetables grown on the land itself, then just blowing while tasting. To attempt a hot spoon of "thang co" will make the frostbitten cold suddenly disappeared.

Sapa is often quite in winter evening when temperatures down to 5-6 degrees with dense fog. However, when the temperature downs to 0 degrees in recent years, visitors often come to see snow, which makes Sapa to be unavoidable place in winter of the north Vietnam.
