Da Nang Tourism – Located among three cultural heritages of the world including Hue citadel, My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An ancient town, Da Nang has special advantages in welcoming and serving visitors. Besides, with many beautiful landscapes endowed by nature and built by human, Da Nang is becoming an attractive destination for tourism in Central Vietnam. Let’s see some places should not be missed in Da Nang.
1. Beaches
Da Nang sea has been voted one of sexiest beaches in the world by an American magazine called Fobes. You will easily see many of the beautiful beaches in the city. The famous beaches include Thanh Binh, Non Nuoc, My Khe, Nam O and more.
Beaches are gifts endowed by nature. They get white sand, blue water, low slopes, and gentle.Coming to Da Nang sea, you also take part in some fascinating sports as gliding and surfing which will be able to conquer any visitor liking thrills.
2. Ba Na Mountain
You will be deemed not to travel Da Nan if you do not come to Ba Na Mountain. This destination located in Hoa Vang district is about 50 kilometers in the west from the city center.
Ba Na peak is located at an altitude of 1.487 meter above sea level. Therefore, you will feel cool around the year even though Ba Na Mountain belongs to hot climate. On the way to Ba Na Peak, you will be able to admire beautiful sceneries while moving on the longest and the highest non-stop cable car with a length of 5,042 meters and a height difference of 1,291 meters. Houses looming in the clouds and wildflowers will make you feel a romantic space.
On the top of Ba Na, you can view the whole beauty of the city and can learn about the rich and diverse flora and fauna ecosystem.
3. Han River
Han river flow is soft running around Da Nang city and bringing peace and romance. Coming to Han River, you admire a very interesting project. It is an unique swing-bridge in Vietnam across the Han River designed and constructed by Vietnamese engineers and workers.
This bridge is not allowed to be swung daily except for at the request of Da Nang Port. If you're in the area at 0h30, you will see the middle part of the bridge turned 90 degrees on its axis to make a way for large vessels to pass through until 3h30. Witnessing the huge bridge moving slowly would be a very interesting experience.
4. Son Tra Peninsula
Son Tra Peninsula with 693m altitude above sea level located 10 kilometers from the city to the northeast, looks like as a smoke screen preventing the city from storms. Its shape is similar to a mushroom. There are beautiful sandy beaches.
Standing on mountain peaks, you can enjoy cool air and the freshness of sea, and mountains, and enjoy Da Nang panoramic city, Ba Na - Nui Chua and Marble Mountain. Apart from swimming, you can also explore nature and can spend time going to Linh Ung pagoda which has the largest Guan Yin Buddha statue in Vietnam.
5. Marble Mountains
Marble Mountains are often referred to as bonsai in the heart of Da Nang city. Here, you will enjoy a poetic and fanciful space, and visit temples and caves. Marble Mountains regarded as a heaven for visitors always come with a lot of stories and legends.
In over 200 years ago, King Minh Mang visited and named 5 different shaped mountains including Kim Son, Moc Son, Tho Son, Thuy Son and Hoa Sown with the mysterious cave system based on five elements including metal, water, wood, fire and earth. This place will make you curious to explore and trips will become really interesting.
