Dong Nai Tourism- Exciting tourist destinations in Dong Nai

Dong Nai Tourism - Dong Nai is a province located in the Southeast of Vietnam and adjacent to Saigon. It is famous for tropical fruits and attractive tourist destinations.

Garden Tours

Dong Nai, Long Khanh District in particular has been known as the largest fruit bowl in Vietnam. These vast fruit orchards used to be places to manufacture and supply tropical fruits and now become places to welcome thousands of visitors each year. 


Lunar May and June months every year are times that the number of tourists is highest because this period is when fruits start to be ripe.Tourists not only admire fruits but also to be satisfied when enjoying all kinds of fruit at the orchards. They are red ripe rambutans, dark purple mangosteens, fragrant durians and strawberries. Visitors can deal with farmers about eating at the orchards as much as possible or buying entire trees to bring fruits if you want.

Nam Cat Tien forest 

Nam Cat Tien forest is a national special use forest with about 36 thousand hectares in Tan Phu district, Dong Nai Province about 160 km from Saigon. This place nearly owns all of characteristic beauties of a great forest with hills, riverside parks, vast flat grasslands, steep streams, waterfalls, and abundant flora and fauna systems. 


That is the reason why this place is a suitable destination for those who love exploring or researchers who want to study flora and fauna systems. Coming here, guests should take part in groups, organize to overnight and conduct group activities such as playing games, camping, and cooking.

Giang Dien Waterfall


This is an ideal destination for picnics, especially for youth groups in Saigon or neighborhood. This waterfall is located in Giang Dien commune, Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province. Due to topographic features, this waterfall does not bear wild and majesty as the largest waterfalls in the Central Highlands and Northwest. However, it attracts visitors by a series of flows and man-made cliffs. Coming here, guests can eat, relax, and enjoy air cool, fresh, and romantic at weekends.

Buu Long Tourism Zone

This resort is located near the city of Bien Hoa, about 30 kilometers from Saigon. It has an area of 84 hectares including Long An Lake, Long Van Lake, Buu Long Mountain and Long Son mountain. 


This is a special geological area creating special scenes. It looks like a miniature Halong Bay in the lake with a lot of limestone mountains. Under the effects of wind and rain, there has been interesting shapes. To admire the beauty of this resort, guests can walk or boat in the lake while listening to the legends and stories associated with scenic areas, visiting the temples, and learning the history and culture of this land.

Thac Mai Forest


Thac Mai forest located on the border between Binh Thuan and Dong Nai is an interesting destination because this place preserves pristine beauties suitable for city residents’ trips at weekends. Thac Mai forest has about 2 miles in length and an area of 500 hectares composed of many streams, waterfalls and rivers forming a area mysterious but romantic.
