Ha Giang Tourism - Ha Giang has become an attractive destination for both its domestic and international tourists. People who have come to this northern mountainous province will be deeply impressed on rugged terrain with mountains, plateaus, rivers and interlocking valleys. Dong Van stone plateau
This exciting destination is located in Dong Van district, which is 146km away from Ha Giang town. Among 19 communes in this district, there are 9 communes shared the border with China. It has a harsh winter with temperatures down to 1ºC with ice-alike snow, but in summer, Dong Van has become an ideal place with the temperature just around 24°C.
Coming to Dong Van stone plateau, you will feel like walking in dreamland as the sky is almost year-round foggy or rainy. The famous words often used to describe this type of weather that local people use is "land without 3 horizontal steps, dates without 3 continuous sunny days." Lung Cu with the northernmost point of Vietnam is a place that you must visit as coming to Dong Van. This landmark, which is known to be "closed to the ground, in touch with the sky", is also considered Vietnam's roof; it will be an attractive destination any traveler who wants to experience. Dong Van is also famous for the temperate fruits, such as peaches, pears, plums, apples, roses, etc. and various kinds of medicinal herbs such as cinnamon, anise, ventricle.
Going up to Dong Van is an opportunity for you to challenge your courage with high passes and abysses. However, you will never regret once you have been immersed in spectacular nature and daydreaming in the rthym of pan and flute. You will definitely want to visit this place again.
Tay Con Linh summit
Tay Con Linh summit is 2.427m in height and located in the mountain range in the west of Ha Giang. This peak spreads over two districts: Hoang Su Phi, and Vi Xuyen. This is not the highest mountain in Vietnam, but the way to conquering Tay Con Linh is not simple because the way coming to this summit is very rugged and has not been configured to route as the road to the top of Fansipan.
You can start from Thanh Thuy gate in Vi Xuyen district, and go 20km to the northwest until reach Xin Chai where you can ask local people the way to reach the summit. Another possible route is to start from Hoang Su Phi district, cross the road through San Tung and then climb.
No matter way you choose, sometimes you also face the steep paths, steep cliffs or when the grass is thick and straight cross between forests. The more you climb, the more sparse population and the original asphalt will be quickly replaced by a dusty dirt road sunny days and muddy when it rains.

Tay Con Linh is famous for the tea named "Snow mountain tea". After crossing the sun gate Hoang Su Phi, you will see many ancient tea trees which have the height of your head. The higher it is, the thicker density the tree is. Snow mountain tea stretching to hide out in the morning dew makes visitors feel lost in the fairy domain. You can stop at the ancient tea forests of Ho Thau Commune, situated at an altitude of 1,500 meters, to see the vast tea towering.
