Da Lat Tourism- The city of flowers is always the first choice for those who love romance and couples. Coming to Da Lat, you will suddenly smile or be deep in thought when hearing the names of places which exist in this new plateau. Let’s visit the Valley of Love, Than Tho Lake, Dream hill and many destinations containing a lot of romance.
Xuan Huong Lake
Xuan Huong Lake is an artificial lake stretching nearly 7 kilometers through many tourist spots of Da Lat such as Yersin Park, City Garden and Cu hill. Xuan Huong Lake is located among Da Lat and is one of attractions for a lot of visitors every day because of its romance. The weather is a little cold while the scenery of the lake is beautiful making a great impression on visitors.

Around the lake there are pine trees and flower gardens which are the perfect places to stroll or for those who prefer to use a carriage service to visit the lake and walk around the city.

Valley of Love
Valley of Love is one of the most scenic spots in Da Lat, about 5 km of the city center to the north. As its name, this place makes you feel that it is always immersed in love. You can walk to enjoy the romantic scenery of the valley or participate in fun activities.

 

Here, Da Thien Dam gathers small streams flowing from high hills to Da Thien Lake winding through green-lined valley. In the 1930, Governor-General of French Indochina and French couples often chose this place to make a date and called it Vallée d'Amour. It was known as the Valley of Peace and was renamed the Valley of Love in 1953.

Dream Hill
As its name, Dream Hill is one of the poetic landscapes of Da Lat. It is a new resort built recently, with the artistic arrangement of villas, restaurants, beautiful lakes, recreation areas, and souvenir parks. All create a zone tourism very attractive for visitors.

Than Tho Lake
Arriving in Dalat, tourists desire to come Than Tho Lake- a dreamy landscapes associated with many legends about an unfinished love of a couple.

Located in the eastern of Da Lat, Xuan Huong Lake is about 5.8 kilometers of the city center. In 1937, the French built a dam across to Cam Ly stream to create a large reservoir with the area of 8,5 hectares providing drinking water for Da Lat people. The French named it Lac des Soupirs which meant Than Tho in Vietnamese. Besides, there are also many love stories about this lake. The story of Hoang Tung and Mai Nuong may be the most famous. After 1976, it was also known as Suong Mai Lake but residents and visitors love Xuan Huong name because it recalls the sadness.

There are pine forests around the lake and you can walk or ride, take a rest in cottages to watch orchid baskets. You can find out the name of the lake through the help of a tour guide, a love story about Mai Huong and Hoang Tung making a deep impression on you.
