Ha Tinh is a district in the central of Vietnam that holds a
harsh weather. However, this district is considered to be “the soul of
mountains and rivers”because of its geographic location and its history of
famous legends. Coming to Ha Tinh, travelers shall visit historic sites and
temples, as well as natural scenery of poetic mountains and rivers of this
district.
Thien Cam mountain
Thien Cam mountain, which means “the sky bird”, is in Cam
Xuyen ward and located 20 km from Ha Tinh city. Next to each other, Thien Cam
mountain and Thien Cam beach create an interesting poetic atmosphere that attracts
all travelers.
Next to the beach with an average height, the mountain gives
its visitors not only a chance for bathing, but also an opportunity to go for
sightseeing. The Yen Lac temple is right on the foot of Thien Cam mountain and is a
verified historic place that have been built from 13rd century. With such a
beautiful scenery, Thien Cam has become the first choice for tourist in their travel
to Ha Tinh.
Hong Linh mountain
Hong Linh mountain and La river are familiar places with a
Vietnamese because of its existence in long lasting songs. Hong Linh mountain
which has 99 summits is located in Thien Loc, Can Loc. Among around 100 temples
here, Huong Tich temple, Thien Tuong temple and Chan Tien temple are the three
most famous. Perhaps the majestic and dreaming beauty of this mountain is the ultimate
sources of feeling to Nguyen Du - a famous cultural celebrity in the world. Once
visit Ha Tinh, visitors should not ignore the place that is immersed in
culture.
Ke Go lake
This is a man-made lake that lies between the hills. Ke Go lake
belongs to Cam Xuyen and is located 70km from the south of Vinh city.
This beautiful architect had been started
building in 1976 and finished in 1980. The lake is 30km in length and involves
1 main dam and 10 supporting dams with total volume of 300 million volume
meter. Recent years, because of its fresh air, poetic scenes and diverse
activities, Ke Go lake have been becoming an attracting place for visitors when
they are in Ha Tinh. This is also a food source for people of the surrounding area.
