Travel to Thanh Hoa - Thanh Hoa is a famous tourist
destination in the North Central region and is a regular choice for travelers
who want to visit the beach and explore the historic sites. Besides cultural
attractions or specialty gifts, you can delight in enjoying the awesome feeling
of nature here.
Sam Son Beach
Sam Son beach is of Sam Son town and 16km from Thanh Hoa
City. The beach has been mined from the early 20th century by the French and
quickly become one of the famous resorts of Indochina at the time. King Bao
Dai, the last king of the Nguyen Dynasty also had a private villa in Sam Son.
Since then, Sam Son has been constantly exploiting and strongly developed for
sea tourism with many villas springing up here from the last decade. Coming to Sam
Son, visitors can be not only immersed in the clear blue sea, but also can
visit the interesting tourist attractions such as Mount Fairy, Trong Mai Stones
or Doc Cuoc temple.
A 10km coastline, which is flanked by majestic mountains,
makes travelers come here really enjoy the natural scenery of one of the most
beautiful wide beaches in northern areas. Not only stunning, visitors can enjoy
fresh seafood right on the beach, the feeling would be great.
Trong Mai stones
Trong Mai stones is a popular destination with tourists
visited Sam Son because this place is only about 3-4km from the beach. You can
easily catch a tram to come Trong Mai Stones after bathing and resting. This is
considered as the special art of nature as three large stones have been arranged
naturally since centuries. A large and flat stone is on the bottom as a solid
platform, a pointed rock is superimposed on the shape looks like a rooster and
a smaller island located opposite is considered to symbolize the hen. In this
place, you'll actually be surprised by the beauty of rocks that look to be
wondrous but stand firm, you will also hear legends about an unfaithful love
that local people retransmitted until now.
Ben En National Park
Tourists to Thanh Hoa are outnumbered and but it seems not so many have visited Ben En
national park. Ben En National Park is located in the Nhu Xuan district and is 36km
to the southwest of Thanh Hoa city. The total area of natural forest here is 16
634 ha, of which there are 8544 hectares of primary forest covering a
population of various mountains, ancient trees, rivers, mountain lakes with many
names and legends about the landmarks.
Ben En National Park will be the ideal destination for you
to do proper research and study of rare flora and fauna here. It has 462
species belonging to 125 plant families. There are also many kinds of rare
animals such as the red wolf, bear, phoenix royal land, gibbon, golden chicken
cash, etc.
Landscapes of Ben En National Park are poetic. Song Muc lake
here is of 3,000 hectares with more than 20 small and large islands and many shimmering
stalactite caves that you can discover in the central tourist itinerary.
