Hanoi Travel - Ao Vua: A destination for short trip

Hanoi Travel – Although it’s not a famous tourism spot, Ao Vua (means King’s Pond) is a good choice for a weekend tour with friends or relatives.

Ao Vua is located 40 km to the West of Hanoi and takes around an hour to arrive by car or motorbike. There are two routes to come to Ao Vua from Hanoi, both routes take you the same amount of time and share the same distance. One route is to begin from the Big C supermarket, cross Thang Long highway in the Culture Village area, where there is a guideline to Ba Vi – Ao Vua. Another route is to start from the overpass at Hanoi National University (Xuan Thuy Street), follow 32 Street to Son Tay Town, then there will be guidlines to Ba Vi. However, the latter choice is a little more complicated.

Ao Vua Ecotourism stretches at the foot of a Tan Vien mountain – the place associated with many legends of ethnic story. The scenery in Ao Vua is the harmonious combination of natural beauty and human creativity. If you’re coming to this place with your friends or family, you will not only enjoy yourself in the wonderful nature, open space, and fresh air, but also have the opportunity to enjoy and experience the magical cultural space. This place is also a suitable choice for small children, which can help them learn the history and the nation’s cultural roots because of many historical stories like King Hung, Son Tinh and Thuy Tinh, the story of mother Au Co who laid hundreds of eggs which later became their ancient people.

Nature here is one of the characteristics that draw attraction for tourists. Due to the geographic characteristics, Ao Vua still retains the forest system with hills, mountains, and streams. You will definitely enjoy hiking, going for sightseeing, smelling the fragrant grass and especially bathing right under the clean and cool waterfall.

Recreation services in Ao Vua are also invested systematically and meticulously. After hiking, hanging out with the birds and clouds, you and your family members can play in the water park, swimming pool, participate in a carousel, racing or visit Son Tinh – Thuy Tinh  cave, Thuong Temple, Trung Temple and many others interesting spots. Other services like swimsuit rentals, catering services, hotel, etc. are also available with reasonable systems. Even if you prefer modern sports like tennis, swimming, there will be plenty choices for you.
