Chang Riec Forest
This destination is located at the border between Vietnam and Cambodia and about 130 km of Ho Chi Minh city. It served as the basis of Central Office for South Vietnam during the war. Now it is a historical site where tourists can visit every day.
After removing Xa Mat border post, visitors will go through some regions where there are old trees Chang Riec forest has a lot of ancistrocladaceae leaves suitable for roofing because they are good and can make cool. These leaves also have a special effect. When the fire spreads, they do not make the fire stronger.
From Xa Mat post to the site, visitors will encounter as Southern Board Security Department relics. Going into the yard of the relics, you will see where leaders worked, the main buildings, the hall, and the logistics. All these works are connected by a 430 meter internal road system and a 1.253 meter trench. There is a quite strange thing. Many bomb craters just are located 10-15m from the place where leaders worked but the buildings are safe. 20 years ago, Ministry of Culture, Sport conducted to embellish this place. After 16 months of construction, it was completed on April 28 th 1994. On the inauguration day, Mr. Nguyen Van Linh - former General Secretary of the Party - and many officers who used to work in the bases visited their old battlefield.
Ma Thien Lanh tourist area
This tourist area covered by Ba Mountain, Heo Mountain, and Phung Mountain is a landmark complex constructed by Ong Ho cave, gold springs and ect. This is one of the attractive tourist areas of southern tours. You only take 30 minutes to this place from Tay Ninh town by using cars.
Coming to Ma Thien Lanh, there are moments you will feel like you're stopping at Da Lat hill. However, this place is more interesting with the natural mountain forests which help you refresh.
The asphalted road stretching from the foothill winds with mountains and cliffs. You will hear about the sounds made by wildlife while streams murmur. All these things make you feel very great in the fresh air.
Stopping at the end of the road, you go along the winding stone steps next to the stream leading to Ong Ho Cave. This place also saves a lot of legends and is respected by many local people. From above looking down, you can see an old papal tree.
